Vizada will deliver Inmarsat’s first ever global handset, the IsatPhone Pro, when it is made available to the market in June 2010.

The IsatPhone Pro is designed for professional users in the government, media, humanitarian, oil and gas, mining and construction sectors, which are core markets served by Vizada and its more than 400 service provider partners.

At launch, the IsatPhone Pro will support satellite telephony (including Bluetooth for hands free use), voicemail, text and email messaging, and location data (look-up and text), with new features expected to be added throughout the year.

IsatPhone Pro is a robust handset that’s easy to use, with long battery life, a reliable network connection with clear voice quality, and global coverage via the Inmarsat-4 satellites.

Inmarsat and its partners are providing a range of docking stations and other accessories. Vizada will offer the IsatPhone Pro along with its Vizada Solutions which are value-added services and applications developed by Vizada to enhance basic connectivity services on land, at sea or in flight.
