We are pleased to inform you about the launch of our new generation Universal Card™.

Universal Card™ now enables crew members to use the Internet on board ship, in addition to making voice calls and sending emails or text messages with Inmarsat or Iridium terminals. The cost are charged directly to the crew on a single card, significantly reducing administration for the IT & communications officer.

Call balance example: with FleetBroadband, a 600 unit card has 30 min call time around the clock or 2.3MB web usage, or a mix of both. Web compression (coming soon) enables crew members to get up to four times as much out of their Universal Card credit.

On land, Universal Card can be used to call via all Inmarsat terminals and Iridium handheld satellite phones, as well as sending prepaid messages using SkyFile Mail and over a web connection with BGAN and Thuraya IP.

This makes Universal Card the most comprehensive prepaid communications solution on the MSS market.
