The Prague teleport, which began operations in November 2004, provides DVB - RCS services for VSAT networks, interactive multimedia services and tracking of VSAT positions for semi-mobile and maritime terminals, as well as control & management for satellite operations.
The Prague facility features a 7-meter Ku-Band transmit/receive motorized antenna which provides for superior performance and reliability. It accesses satellites with footprints covering most of Europe, North Africa and the western Asia region. The teleport is directly connected by microwave and optics to the Czech Telehouse (Sitel) and by metallic/fiber connection to the Czech Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), the Czech International Exchange and the global Internet backbone.
